The interview

Jessica Carro: I think it's very special that it happens to be your house — you're opening your doors to have this party and inviting all these amazing people from every country to literally come to your home. Swim in your pool, dance on your dance floors. It's not a venue, it's not a place — it's your home. And it almost seems like when you bought it, you got it with that intention. Your idea was to do this congress, right? Because it's incredible — it looks like it was made for this.

Berg Dias: It seems like it was, but it wasn't. It grew that big because it was just a necessity. It used to be on the other place, but it got too busy — people started to complain there were too many people in one place — so then we decided to open this other side. And now people still complain there's too many people.

Jessica: People are never going to be happy. People love to complain.

Berg: But the truth is: they complain, but why do they come back? They come back because they want to feel the warmth of other people. This energy. And everybody seems like they go into a trance. Some people, it's literally 24 hours — they leave when sunlight comes. Did you leave when the sun came up?

Jessica: I did — I went to the beach after. We were still dancing on the sand.

Berg: It's never-ending, exactly. So it's something that people have never done before — and for them to see the day crossing by, and then wake up, wake up kind of from the trance, and still be doing what they were doing the night before… It's quite amazing.

Jessica: It really is.
